JUNIOR GOLF (Course #133)

Our junior program stresses many core values such as: Safety, Respect, Courtesy, Honesty, Responsibility, Sportsmanship, Integrity and Perseverance. These teachings develop not only better golfers, but also better people. Our goal is to develop lifelong golfers; ones who will continue to enjoy the game long after this program ends. We have taken great care to develop a comprehensive program for all age levels, taking into account differing abilities. The program is conducted in a fun atmosphere, all participants will receive a t-shirt and prizes will be awarded on a daily basis. We recommend that the older group provide their own clubs. We have a limited number of clubs available for younger players to use.

 Register at least 1 week before start date! A minimum of 3 students must be pre-registered before the program will run. However, registrations will continue to be accepted until class is full.  Class size is limited to 6 students per group to maintain an instructor to student ratio of 6:1 to ensure proper instruction.

Beginner: (Offered Sessions 1-3 only) Designed to be a fun introduction to the game.  Instruction will include the fundamentals of the game such as rules, grip, stance, alignment, swing and course etiquette as well as the skills of pitching, chipping and putting.

Group A: Time.......... 8:30 – 10:00 AM

Group B: Time... 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM
               Ages............................... 6–10

             Session 3................... July 11-13

Intermediate: (Offered Sessions 4-6 only) Designed as an introduction to the game covering further fundamentals of the game with a more advanced approach.

Group B: Time... 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM
               Ages............................... 6–10

             Session 5................... July 25-27

             Session 6................. August 8-10

Advanced: (Offered Sessions 7-8, ages 10+ only) The primary focus is to further develop the fundamental skills, rules and etiquette of the game of golf.  This will create a solid foundation for the junior golfer which will allow him/her to enjoy the game for a lifetime. Students must have their own clubs.
